Liz Donaldson (Bethesda, MD) is a full-time musician, plays piano and accordion and has been playing for dancing for many years. She is known for her innovative back-up style incorporating exciting rhythms, textures, and harmony lines in her music. In addition to playing for Scottish, English and American contra and square dances, Liz teaches all these styles, and dances, too! She is a member of FINDHORN, Terpsichore, Folk Remedy, Dance du Jour, and Waverley Station.

O'er the Border is a country dance band. Our members live in the states of Wisconsin and Illinois, USA. Every time we get together at least one of us has to cross a state line -- whence our name. Primarily, we play for Scottish country dancing, but we are also available for ceilidh dancing, barn dancing, New England contra dancing or English country dancing.

This index lists, in alphabetical order, all the Scottish dances for which the music is available on CD, and the album on which the dance is to be found. Further information on the list gives the type of dance (Reel, Jig, Strathspey, Medley, Waltz), the number of repeats as played on this particular album, and the number of bars in the dance. The final column of figures, headed "pace", shows the speed at which the dances are played, the figure being the time in seconds for thirty two bars of music on that particular track.
